Hi, just a tiny little tweak. During transfers between my own accounts and pots I’m often making notes about what the transfer was for (I borrow money from myself all the time!!) it would be handy if I could write these notes during the transfer. A but like when you transfer money to another account. Thanks

As in from monzo to Lloyds, or monzo to pot A?
Payment references for bank transfers, for pots, not possible and you need to add a note again in the pot.

Although we can add notes to transactions that are to a pot or between a personal and joint account, the notes can be added only after the transfer has been made. This is cumbersome and it would be a lot smoother to have a notes field when setting up the transfer (as when transferring to another Monzo user or an external bank), so the note can be entered when creating the transfer. Things like life insurance, ISA, retirement and all those other savings people do with other companies make no sense to me.
I have Monzo pots now and what I did was create Cash isa pot, individual isa etc and I I have goals per each tax year as exaplained in the example here: https://www.gov.uk/individual-savings-accounts/how-isas-work .
All I want from Monzo now is to help add notes section in pots and ability to initiate an auto transfer to each pot when I get payed.
