Highly likely they’ll stay with the bank or be sold somewhere else I reckon. Nationwide’s are a bit of peculiarity being the only cards issued by a building society in the UK - in part because of the way building societies have to fund themselves compared to banks.
AIUI Virgin Money credit cards are sort of on their own system, that business predating Branson’s acquisition of Northern Rock - it was originally a joint venture with MBNA. As such, quite easy for Nationwide to package up and sell on if they’re so minded.

Is anyone else having some issues going from Monzo - Virgin apps? I’m getting to the Current / Credit card screen, and then it fails out on me.
Never mind, I’ve managed to fix. Not sure why pressing on Credit Card option wasn’t opening the app, but a long press on continue gave the option to open in the Virgin app.

No way - this is crazy. I waited so long for this and just when i finally decided to clear my balance and close my account Monzo ships this feature
