Accidentally Clicked “Close Joint Account” — Will It Close?

Hi everyone

I accidentally clicked “Close Joint Account” in the Monzo app and was taken to a screen with a few steps like withdrawing funds etc. I didn’t actually do anything and just navigated away without confirming or completing the process

The account is still working fine but I’m a bit worried. Is there any chance the account will close automatically or did I start a closure process that’s now pending?

To clarify

I didn’t withdraw any money

I didn’t confirm anything

I just backed out of the screen

Just want to be sure nothing will happen unless I fully complete and confirm the closure myself

Nope you’re fine provided you didn’t go through all the steps.

Pretty sure it asks you to confirm again anyway.

You wouldn’t see the account in app if it was closed.
