I had to deal with limits once as well. And it was not possible to pre-plan them ahead of time. So when requesting things way ahead of time, I think what one should be told is that no limit decisions are made ahead of time, and can only be requested and processed on the day.

Rather than, implying that it has been pre-approved or anything like that.

The language used by support was not clear to me back then either.

I thought the raise in limits only lasted 24 hours? It did when I did it.

But back then you could get a support person without fail in a few minutes… simpler times…
