I think coffee or coffee shops deserve a separate category!

Category for coffee would be awesome! Along with an option to link mondo app with Apple HealthKit to track estimated intake of caffeine.

Certainly a separate coffee section would be great.
Why don’t you do something else, a shortcut button ‘next spending’; where people will be able to define what they will spend the money on next time when the card is used. This will create the sub-categories that everyone wants and they will be more personalised.

We already do this in a sense - if you change the category of a transaction and visit that merchant again, the app will’ve ‘learnt’ and will apply your custom selected category automatically 
Yes a category for coffee and also a category for avocado and smoked salmon on sourdough toast, which i’m patronisingly told is the cause of us millennials being unable to afford purchasing property rather that average house prices in England being 7.8 to 12 times average salary…
