Those who use both YNAB & Monzo.
What does your setup look like? Do you still use Monzo pots?
I have setup my Monzo pots as accounts (e.g Holiday pot) and created categories for these too. But not sure how i should be tagging line items when i transfer to and from Monzo pots/main Monzo account.
Interested to hear other’s approaches!
I have a single “Pot” account where all money in pots live in YNAB. I don’t use the tracking accounts because they require you to set categories when you do transfers (which doesn’t feel right).
Generally I’ve mostly stopped using pots because it creates a mess in YNAB. I only use pots for earning interest and segregating some emergency money, just to make sure I can alway get to it.
