I’m in need of my money from my fixed term pot how ever when I go to close it or archive it I cannot do it which is frustrating
Have you withdrawn the funds?
Fixed Term Pots are locked. You can’t add or remove from them until your time is up.
If you need access, you need to request it.
Go to the help section in your app and search for
Withdrawing money from your Fixed Term Savings Pot
Read through this article and click the Request a withdrawal button at the bottom if you feel you still need access. It will then be reviewed by Monzo. It does state there is no guarantee, but there is no harm in asking if you need the money.
With most providers you can only close/withdraw from a fixed term pot in cases where you’ve had a major change of personal circumstances.
They should have made that very clear during the signup process.
