We’re crowdfunding up to £20,000,000 and we’d love you to be part of it!

You didn’t? :money_mouth_face:

Wish I had that sort of money to throw around lol

Absolutely not!! I don’t have £9 :disappointed:

Given Monzo are debiting our accounts instantly and the process is in-app, can we invest exact amounts (above the min £10) or will it be increments of £10 as on Crowdcube?

@Theodore This was answered early on the number you’ll be putting in is the amount of shares you want to buy. With a limit at 259. So you’ll pay the exact amount.

The big issue for me is which category do I tag this spend as!?

I didn’t see this and I’ve looked at a fair bit of this thread. Cheers for the info; good news!

Finances was created for things like this I believe.

Also, do you know if we’ll be able to see this investment alongside our other crowdfund portfolio of investments in the Crowdcube app?

Would be nice if you saw this investment in your Monzo app

This but I’m unsure of. I would hope this is the case, as when Crowcubes market launches it would be nice to buy and sell.

Do they have any concrete plans or dates for this secondary market?

Not that I’m aware of. Pretty sure it was in their Crowdfunding docs though.

In the last raised that closed only a few days ago, they said they have no plans to introduce a secondary market at the moment.

I have to say I am disappointed with the way you are taking the money for this round. I have been using Monzo just over a month and love it, I want to invest! BUT I did not know this round was coming up and I already spent my investment budget for December (plus put some away for Christmas). I would gladly pay for my shares with a credit card, but you guys won’t let us! This seems a little short sighted on your part if you want to raise 20m! If I could pay through crowdcube I could use whichever card I want, or perhaps if you extended the funding date window I would have enough as I get paid early in December.

Please sort something out and give us more payment options!

Did I read somewhere they were looking at Stripe integration? Or was that another bank - if so this would be ideal.

Unsure about Monzo but Tandem has a Stripe partnership for their upcoming auto saving feature.

Stripe was a investor in Monzo last year from what I recall though :slightly_smiling_face:

Might have been there I saw it!

I’m not sure gambling with debt is the best idea.
Can you transfer from another account?

From your post it sounds like you invest regularly but don’t keep a cash reserve for unexpected events and opportuntities. May not help you now, but in the future consider keeping some cash on the side.
