My first reaction was that the breach was done intentionally so she could resign with a dig at Truss for resigning on a principle.
The breach is minor in reality, the comments about the government are larger.
I’m not sure they can unless a lot did. Three line whip = vote our way or your career is over.

I understand the new Prime Minister sacked her - meaning Jeremy Hunt. Seems he’s trying to form a less divisive and more united cabinet
And it’s a big dig. “I made a mistake….I resign.” By implication, “unlike you.”
Not to mention two semicolons in one sentence.

I keep saying it, but I really cant see how the Tories can just act as if everything is normal. They have to see that them staying in power like this is ruining the country.
