It runs Tasmota right now and uses MQTT to push to my HA Pi. The HA Pi can be hit remotely but I didnt really want a lot of cloud dependency as I didnt want to have them go bust/pull the api/send crap firmware which have all happened in the past.
I have not done pimpy graphs, I just use the HA Energy mode mostly right now but I have a plug on my pc that means I can remote boot her when Wake on Lan is being a bork (thanks W11)
I do see your point with this but I dont have to frig too often and I do find it useful.
