In particular, see point three here. “Unfortunately, developing for one Android device is going to mean developing for countless Android devices. That means different screen sizes, different DPIs and different aspect ratios. Beyond that, you also have fragmentation in terms of the Android versions that people are running.”
The pictures in particular demonstrate this point well.

Probably not. I imagine these companies develop for iOS first because they like an extra challenge and want to limit their income potential, in case they are otherwise seen as profligate.

A few challenges perhaps. One being… no device is equal in terms of hardware.
Unlike iOS, most of the hardware is pretty similar…

I believe screen size is actually one of the biggest problems in Android…
Starling removed their US Citizen ban in their 30 Aug terms. Still not gonna go down that road, LOL. But I’m tempted. The new card is so pretty. Stop me… It wouldn’t replace my Monzo account and I really don’t need more accounts.

I was originally with starling but used CASS to First Direct. Wanting to switch back after a terrible experience but didn’t realise I have to wait 12 months!
