Would it be possible to allow a pot to be set as the catagory for a transaction? This would mean the money comes straight from the pot without effecting that months budget. Useful for large purchases that are a one off. It would mean my regular budget would not need to be edited.
Not sure if you’re aware, but if you click on a transaction on your feed and scroll down to the bottom there’s a toggle to “exclude from spending summary”. That transaction will be ignored for budgeting purposes.
You can use IFTTT to set certain categories to come straight out of certain pots.
Can you? I wasnt aware categories were recognised by IFTTT
I think the issue with this is that categories can be changed as many times as you like. I think it would need to lock the category at the point of withdrawing from the pot
Thats actually really useful thanks. Would be nice to bypass then withdrawing the amount from a pot though.
