A common use case for running splits is group holidays, where most of the payments will often be in a foreign currency. It would be much easier to allocate who owes what based on quantities of the payment currency rather than GBP (as the local currency will be what’s on the itemised receipt). As it stands currently I’ve got to reapply the currency conversion to work out the split.
