RBS, it’s an RBS account.

RBS was done on salary requirements and money goes in to meet this requirement monthly.
NatWest were very detailed and requested additional evidence to confirm salary during the application. Since then I have only put £1,250 through it a month - I have direct debits set up so I get the reward cashback, and have the regular saver.
Ulster bank wouldn’t initially upgrade me, but when they launched their loyalty saver I moved 100k over and now I meet the investment requirements they upgraded me.

Thanks - I’ve currently got Ulster via the savings amount. It would be nice if they were joined up enough to just look across instead of needing me to jump through hoops to upgrade the other two as well. But it sounds as if they’re not very keen to do that - had one CS person tell me they would, another that they wouldn’t, and in the end Natwest rejected the request.
I suppose I’ll have to summon up my courage and try to wrestle with CS again for Natwest.
It’s a shame they don’t have a proper investment platform.
Not that it matters, but the Ulster app doesn’t update with Premier branding like the other two do.
It does correctly show the black debit card and most importantly allow you increase your daily transfer limit from 20 to 50k though.

Rather than talking to a person, have you tried applying for a new NatWest premier account online to start off the process?
That’s how I did mine - all additional evidence requests then came via digidocs.

I think the salary requirement for Ulster Bank Premier is £75k rather than the £100k required for RBS or NatWest
For anyone curious the design for the Ulster Bank cards are by Danni Simpson. Sadly I haven’t seen the full design posted anywhere
Must have completely missed it when I got my debit card! However that was a while ago now. They closed their branch walking distance from my place and I moved to another bank. I should reopen my account to take a look

I’ve tried the online “upgrade an existing account” form, which went through fine on Ulster but was rejected on Natwest. I haven’t tried just opening a brand new account yet. At least Ulster has the most interesting card!
