Remove google services

I have been using Monzo exclusively on a phone running LineageOS without Google Play Services for three months now.

The only broken functionality I’ve come across is:

  • no map for POS transactions
  • no notifications of any kind

I couldn’t care less about the maps, but I do miss the notifications. Otherwise it’s been business as usual.

Do you have a source for this? I had a quick Google and couldn’t find anything. Looks interesting.
