That’s only a 68% increase, yet company has doubled in value - did we give away a huge chunk?

Part of the value will be the new shares (so I don’t think that is/ should be factored into it). I think the pre-money was £1.9bn (a 90% increase) but I doubt dilution was/is near 22%.
This is why it is painful to try and work things out

Good to know, but also annoying that we have to figure this out by following their social media activity as opposed to being informed by email.

Also, it was £1.085bn before, not £1bn.
They’ve raised £113m, i.e. the increase is £2bn - £113m / 1.085bn = 73.9% increase

Also, this is a dollar raise (i believe) which means there might be currency changes in play too.
