I get this message
I’ve tried toggling, uninstalling etc.
I have a couple of questions. I’ve connected my Barclaycard and it works great so want to use some more…
-
How do you add a second card?
-
Are you planning on adding support for Tandem?
Tandem need to release an api, it’s mentioned several times above.
Thank you, apologies for not checking that!
I’ve had no initial or ongoing issues with Nationwide.
Have probably had it connected for a week.
It’s just weird to me because someone else I talked to was having the same issues. I’m going to see if it’s related to my memorable word/date/place
Hey - uninstalling Monzo or signing out won’t make a difference here. It is an error on TrueLayer’s web servers. Their investigating but in most cases it’ll work if you retry.
We’ll start showing a button to connect a second card to the account tab later this week!
Support are aware of this but since I connected my Barclaycard I have also switched CC providers and now I am seeing a ‘Reconnect your BC’ message which I have no way of removing. Tapping it takes me to the login page for BC. Hopefully a bug fixed soon

Hello! If you PM me your Monzo email I’ll get that removed for you, we’ve got a way to remove those old sessions yourself coming out shortly
Done - thanks bud!
Hey all, quick update.
We’re in the process of taking this feature out of Monzo Labs. This is mostly to make it easier to test the feature with more people, without the complexity that comes from it also being in Labs.
We know there are still issues with the feature as it currently stands, and functionality that should be built next. Taking the feature out of Labs doesn’t mean we think it is done!
Here’s our plan for taking us out of Labs:
- Enable people to add and remove cards themselves without needing to toggle the feature on/off via Labs (that was used as a shortcut to start testing sooner)
- This will be available from iOS 2.47.0 and Android 2.46.0
- Make sure everyone who has tested the feature so far has access to it.
- Remove the ability to turn the feature on and off via Labs.
- Enable the feature for a small random percentage of users, so we can get some feedback from people who aren’t digging for the feature.
- In the meantime, enable the feature for anyone that asks.
What will people who have connected cards see?
- If you currently have cards connected, they’ll stay connected
- If you’ve ever enabled the feature in Labs, you’ll see a new button in the Account Tab to connect to any of the providers that we support
- If you’ve never enabled the feature in Labs, you’ll need to contact support to try it out
What is stopping us releasing the feature to everyone?
The main issue we need to fix before we make the feature available to all is when people get stuck at the end of the connection flow when they ought to be redirected back to Monzo. It seems to only affect Android users, and we’re working with TrueLayer to fix it.
What are we going to build next?
In terms of functionality, the next thing we’re building is a basic list of transactions, to start getting internal feedback on the data quality. For now, your credit card transactions will be kept very separate from your monzo transactions, and will initially be a basic un-enriched list. We’ll improve this over time.
Thanks again to everyone who has tested this so far, shared feedback, and reported issues - we couldn’t have done this without you!
Mine disconnected once right at the start and hasn’t done since

I don’t have a Natwest credit card, but thought I’d put in my Natwest credentials just for the “fun” of it. I also slightly hoped it may show my Natwest loan balance, but no joy. It seems to get stuck on the “We’re getting your balance” screen and never errors out (“You don’t have a Natwest credit card
”). Could be something to look at - I can remove the card manually though.
That’s something that’s on our to-do list for sure - we currently don’t update that ever if we never get a card.
I did the same. ![]()
How do I get rid of it?

Tap the card, then tap the bin button on the top right. That works on Android. Alternatively, toggle the feature off in Labs - that also works for me.
I may have to do that on my android phone. I don’t have that screen on iOS
One thing that would be nice to add is better card names, or the ability for us to label them ourselves. Right now, mine just says ‘Nationwide Card’. I’d prefer it said the card name or if I could label it. Not a big one, but would be nice polish.
