In fact, that string has been changed from showing a dedicated ‘£500’ to instead showing a number pulled from a table elsewhere - so more variable from this point forward.
I disagree. My last 10 in person transactions as spot check have all been correct location. I am missing a few icons but I live in a very remote part of Scotland so I expect that.
In England though it has been very good in the whole.
Other banks have had much bigger issues especially with mapping and many don’t have any icons at all and I much prefer icons even if it was occasional then none at all. I do not expect any bank to be 100% with icons and location but it’s certainly better to have as much as possible.
Isn’t this is transactions map that never made it to iOS being killed as opposed to the location map for individual transactions?

I’d say the metrics show it was an unwanted feature. I used it only out of curiosity - it was s nice-to-have feature - one that didn’t impact or influence my daily banking in any way. And…
I agree with this. Better to have a half-finished, never used feature removed than left there. Anti-feature-creep is a good thing sometimes. Then…
Never, ever going to happen™️
That’d push another disparity or result in 2 map platforms to support.
