If installed by Three it’s likely their own (like a pole looking style mast).
You can have a look at cellmapper online or via app on Android and see what networks are airing from it.

Maybe I’m misunderstanding something but I thought you said that doesn’t tell you about 5G towers?
CellMapper just shows me a map with nothing on it at all.
It doesn’t, but tapping through each network on 4G you’ll see a green dot indicator on that mast site location of who airs there.
O2 coverage maps shows you mast locations on it.
The rest you have to work out.

what
noooo I was replying to the link about football fan plans
Thanks, although it wasn’t that - it was me being an idiot and not selecting a provider ![]()
So all 5g masts also provide 4g, and therefore appear on the map?
In short, yes.
Networks are slowly rolling out standalone 5G, but it’ll be a very slow and expensive rollout and will take years.
You might see some locations airing 5G and showing mast details in major cities.
What is a 5G Standalone network and what benefits does it bring? - this might explain a bit more in detail.
To be honest I think its still up the air. I really expect it to need Visual Voicemail as it could add confusion, if you have no signal you would need to know to revert to the old voicemail you have while live voicemail shows in the app, that just isnt very slick or apple like.
I live in a place where EE very regularly craps out for the whole day, it has happened several times this year with a total loss of service over a large LARGE area (miles upon miles, aka more than a single mast) and although EE has visual voicemail a lot of networks dont.
The greeting is also meant to sync from visual voicemail and I really just dont expect apple to let it work but you never know they might just add a warning.
This did not imply it was a slam dunk one way or another:
The American dream!
I don’t use visual voicemail and most certainly won’t be doing video live voicemails.
Wouldn’t get the far anyway, I never call anyone.
I will watch my phone ring then send a text.
Everyone who knows me, knows to message ![]()
I’m on O2 and whilst I like O2 priority, I have a lot of issues with the network.
I’m in Weymouth and the local mast to me has had issues since January, confirmed by their network checker. Every time they “fix” the mast, within days there is a fault again. The mast also serves the local Haven holiday parks, so in the summer the network congestion is horrendous as well.
Same with the mast near my work location as well (when I do go into the office).
For calls and texts it’s fine, but I constantly have issues with data generally in built up areas. Signal shows as 4G, but the network is just so congested.
Seriously thinking of moving to EE, though I’ll have to convince O2 to let me out of my contract early without having to pay back the device plan all at once. I have so far managed to get over £130 compensation from them, but I’d prefer to have a reliable service.
That sounds horrendous wtf. Who’s your ISP? If you’re with Virgin you can keep Priority
Use that towards a smarty/lyca £4/£6/£8 deal over the year seeing as it’s free to you, might have upgraded the local area from then.
Lyca was a hassle to switch over to, there was an error transferring my number which left people unable to call me and I needed to swap to a new esim which the call center staff couldn’t explain very well.
For the time being I will stay with them until Honest Mobile launch their esim and I will go back with them.
I’m with BT, unfortunately we don’t have the option of Virgin here.
Drawbacks of living in the sticks! Haha.
Good shout! I will take a look at that! Thank you ![]()
Might get a cheap EE deal calling BT or going to the BT website and choosing you’re a BT customer. Usually get some good deals.
