Yeah, they pretty much only get the view see when you tap on your main Monzo account with pots at the bottom
It would be nice if there was a way to teach the kids about compound interest by allowing interest bearing pots.

And allowing them to see the effects of variable interest when the rate changes, such as on the adult ones today.

Does anyone know when those who signed up to the waitlist on the app, rather than early community access, will get access? My kids are pestering me daily 
Although great start, would be good if both parents where able to access and manage the kids accounts and be able to add money to them.

Or maybe it’s being tested by those with early access so that when you get to try it all the most obvious bugs are ironed out.

When you’re testing something like this, you don’t know what issues will arise or how long it will take to resolve them.
Therefore the answer for when this will be rolled out fully, is unknown.

Not even a secret. Monzo employees have already confirmed that this is coming, however, it won’t be ready for the initial launch. It’s a heavily requested feature and should be completely polished prior to launching to limit the amount of problems that occur. There’s never a timeline for these features as a critical flaw may be discovered an hour before the update is due to be pushed resulting in an extended period of waiting. Don’t rush anyone or request further details as they won’t provide it, if they’ve been privileged with the information and features ahead of the public launch, I doubt they’d spoil it.

I tried setting up a children’s account, but in the birthday entry field, it doesn’t allow me to put the day of my child’s birthday. Just the month and year? It seems to revert to today for the day. Is this a bug?

I seem to remember being confused by this when I setup my child’s account last week on iOS but found somewhere to tap in the calendar widget to get to the days to change it
Very much beginning to wish I’d not mentioned these to the kids already! Still pestering
