Transferring Money both in and out of child accounts is a pain. Relatives ought to be able to give money directly to the child’s account. Starling has a kitelink that can be given to relatives.

I posted a similar idea earlier. Reposting here as I didn’t realise this thread was here for feedback. My idea is even simpler potentially than having a dedicated link - just automatically forward money based on a payment reference.

We love the new child accounts after having tried many including GoHenry and Rooster from my old NatWest account. You’ve done a great job and on the whole I have no complaints at all. It is perfectly understandable and reasonable that the kids don’t have their own bank account number and sort code.
