Revolut, Chase and HSBC global.
Revolut comes out tops again.
HSBC is 60p difference
Thatâs revealing - thanks! I bet Lloyds wonât be far off that HSBC conversation rate.
Iâve just upgraded my account to Club Lloyds Platinum but it doesnât seem to have re-issued a debit card.
Are debit cards automatically re-issued with account upgrades or must I request?
Iâd like the silver card design.
HSBC seemed to start of good, but heard recently the rate got a bit rubbish so to be expected
To order currency in the app with Lloyds the rate was 1.16 for EUR, revolut is at present 1.20 just checking in the app (changes throughout the day).
It shouldâve said something at the end of the application about it, canât remember the wording.
Iâll wait until tomorrow before I contact them. Maybe it will re-issue overnight.
That would not be amusing, at allâŠ
Keep us up to date.
Itâll re-issue, and eventually update in the app and in real life
The updated debit card should appear in your debit card carousel, but I did get an email welcoming me to the account and that a debit card is on the way.
Out of interest why? Put the code in, if it works great, if not maybe wait a few days and then request a new one if it doesnât?
Anyone recommend which Branch of Lloyds to go with?
Lloyds, Bank of Scotland or Halifax??
(I think thatâs all of them from my research)
I think you misunderstood me - What Iâm saying is ultimatly no matter how many times you asked, somewhere out there is the right code.
So if you get a letter and put it in, it should either accept it or say you need a new one. Once youâve waited a few days and can be sure another one doesnât just appear, maybe then is the time to ask for a new one?
Feels like youâve made this complicated for yourself by not waiting - I would also have liked not to, but Lloyds be Lloyds
Thatâs right. I upgraded my card a few days ago, and the new card details were visible the following day.
Wonât really matter soon, Lloyds will have the most advanced app of the three being the parent brand, but basically theyâll all be the same in the end.
Oh cool.
So a Lloyds Classic Account (i think thats right) would be the best account?
Itâs not though. You must have orderered a new code, somehow, and if that was on itâs way on Friday itâll be the right one.
But feel free to ring them, itâs your choice.
Iâd just try to code. It seems a waste of time to call them when you can just try to code and see if it works. Overcomplicating it for yourself I think
I went with Bank of Scotland because I like the card better plus the regular saver was (slightly) worse I think for Lloyds for some reason
