I would try but as I’m a ponce I don’t want to chance binning this (haven’t paid for it for years, but for some reason it’s still attached to my non-eligible a/c). My physical card is common or garden Club Lloyds :man_shrugging:

Lloyds service received in branch today was exceptional. Such a kind and caring bunch.

Had to drop in and query about freezing my mums cards and accounts following her recent passing, and they really went above what I expected.

I can’t do much at the minute but, compared to Nationwide (who was also good but not as good), surprised to hear the processes are different between the two.

Lloyds - cards blocked, online banking removed, no payments in or out of accounts, my name and Lloyds details verified to continue with the chat.

Nationwide - card blocked and mobile banking deactivated, no other details required.

Be a few weeks before I can have a certificate to handle the rest, but praise where praise is needed.

Have a few elderly relatives who love Lloyds and give it a lot of praise for the branch services, sadly they have announced a closing date for our local one along with about 6-7 other banks

Nationwide I’ve found to be good aswell, hopefully they stick around after 2028

I guess so, Lloyds doesn’t really get enough credit for how good they are. They’ve gone above and beyond a few times for family and friends

Zilch have said they’ve refunded just over £300 already, offered me ARN numbers so I asked for them to email them to me, she put me on hold and then came back and said the refunds hadn’t actually been issued to my account yet :expressionless:

Wanted 10% cashback through Lloyds.

Tried to add card to Apple Pay. Card not added, contact card issuer.

Contacted Lloyds, pointless 45 mins on a call to say they needed to authorise the deactivation of the Apple Pay (even though they knew I’d removed the card).

Said wait an hour and try again.

It’s been about 17 hours, this same message.

Ordered replacement card, that updated in app, tried and that also failed.

I’ve signed out of iCloud and back in, still no joy.

Will call Lloyds again in a bit but I’m curious if anyone has any other suggestions?

My other cards seems to add fine (had to re add after signing out of iCloud).

The card has added previously and I’ve never had an issue.

@NanoOp might know what I need to ask Lloyds?

I already asked them to remove the Apple Pay token which they said they’ve done and can take an hour (but way past that now).

Card not added - contact your card issuer for more information.

They’ve confirmed no active Apple tokens or connection to Apple in any way.

I need to call Apple and doubt much will happen from their side.
