Probs boring stuff you need in here or just google the card type and then “terms and conditions” after it

Any credit cards I’ve ever applied for, send you all the necessary information either via email or in the post.

Have you checked the app? To see if it appears there.

The card shows in the list with the limit etc., but no paperwork yet. Perhaps it’ll appear once the card has been sent out

If you can see it in the app, that’s a good thing. The paperwork should arrive with the card, it won’t be much though.

What are you after?
Since you know the card is coming and the limit. You’ll get the card in the post and you’ll get the pin in the post, although I never wait for these, as most apps let you view your pin. Lloyds / Halifax do.

I wasn’t after anything specific - just wanted to make sure I hadn’t missed any important information that would have been shown on the final acceptance page. Sounds like this will come in the post though. Thanks everyone for your help

The confirmation said the card takes up to 7 working days to be delivered, but does anyone know how long it normally takes for it to become visible in the app please? I can see the account type and card number in the account list, but the view card details section just shows a grey rectangle with an exclamation mark and says ‘this credit card is not currently available for us to show you. Please try again later’. Though the PIN is visible under the view pin menu. I think the current accounts had cards visible in the app the very next day. Thanks

Usually visible in app once it’s been produced, sounds like that’s around 7 days.

I had this with my Halifax card, go to Apply > Credit Cards > Activate credit card, if you activate it here you can then see the details and add it to Apple Pay. Might not be available straight away but I did this a few days before the card arrived. It doesn’t require any details to activate it, just hit the button.

You’ll want to exercise caution in doing this before you have the card though as obviously the card will then be live if anyone intercepts the mail, though the risk of that is probably low.

That shade of green with the black text reminds me of the Lloyds cheque books my parents had in the 80s.

Anyone else with a Bank Of Scotland Credit Card having trouble adding it to Apple Pay?

Mine is not just not adding to my phone but it will add to my watch?

Horse going forwards or backwards?

Profile logo vs new branding.

Definitely prefer the new logo they are using. Always thought the horse facing backwards looked a bit strange.

I wonder how many people have never realised the horse’s head faces backwards?

Consciously never thought about it but now it’s changed, the new does look out of place (years of facing backwards).

347 years its been facing backwards! I don’t like the change

It might hang about two cycles to see if any interest is to be produced - total guess but would make sense.

Yeah it might be for any trailing interest to be applied. That’ll depend on when you last used your card and if you paid the bill in full or not.
