I won’t be eligible for Premier.

I want instant notifications and Apple Pay!

Is there any update on the Apple wallet issue @Boring

That’s being worked on, I believe a fix will be soon

Notification is defo coming I mean I’ve been enjoying it for a bit now lol

Premier eligibility isn’t as deep as people think it will be, very similar to certain bank in red is all I’ll say…

Features that come with it are cool.

Is the layout better on notifications? Or the same just instant and vibrate?

I’m nowhere near eligible for any Premier banking status :skull:

Layout will remain the same just instant

Vibrate?

I hope it’s not got the same eligibility requirements, it was the reason I came to Lloyds in the first place after they upped them but left nothing in place in terms of their non premier accounts.

Working on the basis that it will be, I hope platinum doesn’t change too much as a result. The discount on monthly fees is not to be sniffed at.

Didn’t you move from HSBC?

Oh I was thinking Santander Select :joy:

Not yet breaks lot of things when we tried so has lot of work to on that bit

Ah, seems moot without sound/vibrate.

Think Lloyds should focus on the basics instead of sparkles and glitter :grimacing:

Yeh, because their eligibility changed and the advance account doesn’t offer anything. Platinum was (albeit paid) a close enough match. I’m happy with it and with the offers/discounts currently.

I just hope that won’t change too much to make way for Premier which until I know the eligibility I won’t know if I’ll meet it.

Will patiently wait

How come vibrate and sounds work for other banks then?

I did consider the platinum account but the mobile insurance isn’t a family one like Nationwide, it feels like a missed opportunity to me. There also doesn’t seem to be the option to upgrade it like Monzo.

Didn’t even think of that :joy:

That’s true, perhaps over time it’ll change. You can only go off what’s currently available of course. For me the phone insurance was an added benefit, I really got it for the travel insurance.

At least Lloyds offers decent travel insurance out of the box for family. All the Monzo one does is change the wording from individual to family, the covers stay the same which are too low for a full family personally speaking.

Which magazine did a breakdown and rating of the various components of the different packaged a/c and Nationwide came out joint top with Virgin, so it’s a pretty decent account all round really.

Notifications or lack of would be a deal breaker. I do like nationwide and did use them for a while but now I just have an account to get the phone insurance and break down cover.

I’ve had an on / off relationship with Lloyds, their previous app and fonts and style I didn’t like but the new version is much better.

I probably will never close it though, it’s my longest running account.
