I think it’s just to try and enhance the experience for the customer.

I live in the middle of nowhere, but it means our postie comes in a van, doesn’t have to walk his round and our post is nearly always here around 0830.
It was a bit late this morning because our usual postie is on holiday and I think Luke likes to stay in bed a bit later (I don’t actually know he’s called Luke, but he looks like a Luke. Our usual postie looks like a Dave and is actually called……… Dave! 
)

I had a dream about these bloody cards last night 
Except that it was Monzo did an annual “event” where they would unveil 3 new coloured cards to replace their current colours.
And it’s an idea I love. Three colours available for a year only. Three new colours unveiled each year.
(Ofc terrible for the environment but just as an imagine situation I love it).
