@mary Mine is still out by 500 compared to Clearscore and always has been!
Thanks for flagging.
One potential reason this could happen is if Equifax are missing some of your address history and canât match you correctly. Weâve very recently launched a way for you to share your address history with them to improve matching and accuracy of scores.
You can do this by tapping on ââSomething doesnât look rightââ on the bottom of credit insights > ââSeeing a different score in another app?ââ and then reviewing and sharing your address history.
This is fresh functionality so please give it a go and let me know if it improves the accuracy of your score ![]()
Hi Mary, the problem only exists within the Monzo app, the actual Equifax website shows the correct score and they have my correct address history.
My Equifax score in Monzo is also almost 300 points lower than my Equifax score with ClearScore.
Could you please give the address sharing described above a go and let me know if that resolves it next week when your scores refresh again? ![]()
Whilst your address history might be right on the Equifax website, for them to match you correctly on credit insights and return the right score we may need to share a longer address history them.
Thank you Mary,
I have shared my address history, it states 7 days before the next update so weâll see what happens.
Is this still rolling out? I only have the option to raise dispute with TransUnion.
@ntaylor3 sharing address history should be available to all credit insights customers on Extra, Perks or Max. If youâre not seeing feel free to DM me your email and we can take a look for you.
Just for anyone else who couldnât find this: you need to open up the Equifax page to find the âSeeing a diffferent scoreâ button at the bottom, rather than via the âSomething doesnât look rightâ button on the main page (at least thatâs how its set up in my app).
On this page I can see a big drop that coincided with me moving house so hopefully that will fix it.
