He’s very lucky getting an ADHD diagnosis as an adult. I’m pretty convinced but GPs wont even refer me as ‘It would have been picked up when you were a child’, even though I could easily list off all the situations where it did.
And reading this, I’ve realised a lot of my financial issues came from the same place as Abz’s. I’ve always been a very impulsive spender, who buys things to cheer myself up, but i’d never made this sort of connection.

Very interesting. I was diagnosed with ADHD as a young kid. Haven’t taken medication for it in years as it doesn’t seem to affect me anymore. Though, perhaps it actually does affect me. I spend money like I’m a millionaire. Absolutely am not.
