No notification of a hard search they don’t offer an overdraft so was always unlikely
Thanks for this. Let me get ready for a selfie then.
They want to send your housemates an email!
I have given up on the application. I am not intending to borrow anything but they also want my payslips after the selfie, video recording, ID and other information on the lengthy form
I was also thinking this.
It’d annoy me, but not as much as getting a email each time I bought a mars bar
Interesting they never asked me for payslips!
I could live with the emails.
The incorrect use of auxiliary verbs is difficult to forgive though. I’ve switched banks over less.
Admittedly, I can be a tricky customer at times. I accept that most people wouldn’t care
Not sure if these types of posts are allowed here, but I’m going to sign up if anyone wants to refer me for the £5 bonus
They’re not
I abandoned my application when they asked for Payslips but I have now been approved with no further action.
Happy days!
I have actually found IFast a better alternative to Wise for money transfers.
They give me better value for money as compared to Wise and in some locations where Wise takes a day or two deliver money to local banks, they have done it in under an hour.
Another plus is I can send to mobile wallets (Mobile Money) in some markets and money is there in about 25 minutes.
Also my cashback at Airtime rewards gift cards has tracked. That is essentially netting me 6% cash back.
I am going to give them more business.
I’ve been invited to two iFast 2nd anniversary open houses
I just opened my iFast account. I had a similar experience to what’s been described here, the app appeared to ask me for payslips but then went on to approve my account. It did ask for a bit too much information, and it wasn’t clear why. I am guessing this amount/kind of information is more standard to be asked in Asia.
Now the real test - if I use Curve with it, will I get both Curve’s 1% and iFast’s 2% on my Curve retailers (same as I do with Chase)? Looking forward to finding out…
Perhaps, or very keen to avoid doing a “starling”
I get iFast cashback with Curve, though I only use Curve for Samsung wallet nowadays.
Has anyone tried to transfer Euros into their iFast account? I tried a small amount from my Starling Euro account. Starling just notified me the transfer failed due to a problem with the recipient details. It doesn’t say anything else. I’ve entered my full name and the iFast IBAN - it didn’t ask for the BIC or anything else.
Has anyone come across this?
Let me try with a Wise transfer
