You’re only a couple of miles away from me! If I was you I’d open a bath building society 16-25 regular saver for £1 while I was in town.

I tried booking a physio appt and it looked like it was about to give me a video consultation 4mins later, pretty decent response if that was actually the case.

Time to get the stacks of debit cards out like stickers in school - “Got, got, got, neeeeeed!, got…”

I got another search from them today when asking about the Premier Credit Card. So up to 3 hard searches now.

Metro & Nationwide only did soft searches.

Also got told i’m not eligible for the Premier Healthcare thing. The Insurance I can have but the Healthcare thing I can’t have

End up having your stomach pumped after going to HSBC.

I do see many more HSBC ads about, even ISPreview has them floating about.

I do not understand why HSBC do not just remove foreign transaction fees on the Premier card, the same as HSBC Group have done with First Direct.

I’m surprised their credit cards still charge for overseas usage.

Even the Premier World card which is clearly targeted as frequent travellers.

I was surprised with the standard credit card having fees. The only credit card I hold that’s not charging is Zopa.

Barclaycard Platinum also charges them which is a huge shame.

I’d have to wait 5 months or so to switch, guessing my balance transfer 0% wouldn’t run on when swapping cards?

Not too fussed to be fair, likely use Revolut is Norway anyway.

I reckon they don’t think they need to as Amex Platinum has fees, even though it’s a card aimed at travellers.

Another one bites the dust :boom:

29 retail banks in a country of 1.5 million does sound crowded.

Not so much. America has 300 million people and 4500 retail banks.

US is also much bigger

I believe none are nationwide (even the bigger ones), whereas Bahrain is tiny (geographically).
