How should I use the money earnt on Monzo USA when I move back to the the UK

Hi!

I have UK/US dual citizenship and have moved from London to the US this year for a 6 month internship. While in the US I’ve been using a monzo USA account to receive my income. I’m moving back home in a few weeks and would like to know what I should do about the money in my US account. Is there any reason to not just use the US card for spending in the UK? Is there any way to do a low cost international transfer into a UK account?

It depends how much it is and whether you want to spend it “quickly” or if it’s money you want to keep/save. You need to be a US/UK resident to use each account. But obviously Americans come on holiday to England and use their card.

Otherwise find which bank charges the smallest % to transfer your dollars and move it there.
