Before people say this already exists! This would be a specific feature that’s separate from the (very useful) categorization screen where we can already do apply “Just Once”, “Now and Going Forward”, and “All Transactions”.
I want to be able to go into Activity, tap and hold a bunch of transactions, then Categorize them with a specific category.
For example, I just got back from a holiday. The week’s worth of transactions are a mess: some are Groceries, some are Holiday, some are Shopping, others are General.
The transactions are so variable every day that going through one-by-one to change them all to Holiday will be really time consuming. It would be much simpler to multi-select everything from that time period, and set them to Holiday.
This would work very similarly to the way that we can already bulk select / multi-select several transactions at once when adding them to a shared Split.
