Definitely! I think it’s a good breakdown of the basics and I like that there are links for people to research further if they want to. 
It’s definitely a good starting point!
I personally believe most of the activities start with learn technics, what and why we do.
By the way, I have that book (on the picture) and I think it could be useful for many of you(us).
