Euromillions wins and Monzo

I’d insist they transferred it into my Monzo account for that sweet notification. Would absolutely fuck your pulse though :joy:

You could put it in Monzo :stuck_out_tongue:

Obviously you would only be protected up to £85k by FSCS

I’d love to see £15,000,000 squeezed onto the accounts page :joy::ok_hand:

Unless it intelligently turns it into £15 mil :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::thinking:

If anyone wants to, ahem, ‘loan’ me £1,000,000+, I’ll gladly be a beta tester :joy:

They set you up with financial advisors, and a private bank account so you can get the money paid in instantly. Trying to transfer several million to your high street account is likely to cause some flags to go off that could lead to you waiting weeks to get the money.

I think I’d keep my money in my private account and send a (very generous) weekly allowance to my day to day bank, probably Monzo… though given I wouldn’t need to worry so much about watching my pennies, maybe I’d end up checking it less.

I’ll set up a staging user and find out for you

Of course, don’t worry :joy:

Actually, @AaronC may be able to help you as I seem to remember his staging account was pretty flush…

Thank you both @Peter_G and @nexusmaniac for the birthday wishes :bowing_man:

Sadly I’ve only got £170,048 in mine right now :pensive:

It’s a sad life :man_shrugging:

Watch everyone post this on the gram or snapchat with a line like:

“I wish my balance was still like this” or “Xmas ruined me” :joy_cat:

You can opt for a cheque which is what mother did. Santander woman on counter laughed as she said “Oh your them aren’t you” lol!

As it was in the local rag.

I would imagine the bank transfer would be a CHAPS

If I’d had that kind of money in my 20s I’d probably be dead. But now that I’m over 50 I just want a quiet life of leasure for myself & partner. I think we’d cope pretty well with a huge financial windfall. Buy somewhere nice to live, travel a lot and just have a generally easy life. I’d tell no one, of course.
