Same, Monzo in last 10 days has used 2%ā¦ in the last 24 hours, 7%. The 7% is with 30 mins screen time and 2 mins background.

Itās not usually that highā¦ I was testing out dark mode and itās my payday (woo). Was doing some manual changes included making new pot images 
FINALLY!!! Iām so happy about this

On iOS: View your credit score within Monzo app > scroll down and select an article under the heading āLearn more about creditā. These open within the app (not an integrated browser page) so would expect to also match the dark mode theme.

Thatās not the kind of thing I was highlighting, just a missed bit of the app that hasnāt yet been redesigned for Dark Mode.
I was thinking more about when the app opens an integrated browser to display pages from the Monzo website.
It would be possible for these pages to all support light, dark and auto mode too - but it would require changes to the code of the webpages, rather than code in the app.
The good thing about that is it can be a server-side update to the website, the bad thing about it is that itās a whole project in itself!

Got you. It definitely makes sense and would be a great thing to add for continuity and for my eyeballs at night.
But like you said, itās a big piece of work. For now, Iād much rather resource polish dark mode within the app itself and then focus on other product features like paying for plus/premium from a pot (pleeeeease).

Assuming that Monzo use a standard style template for their webpages, itās probably not a massive amount of work to create a ādark versionā of that - but then you have to check literally every webpage for oddities, like they have with the app. You also probably need to re-render a dark version of various graphics and so on, so to do it properly is a lot of work.
They could prioritise the common pages that the app links to and leave the rest of the website for later, and that would be a more achievable target which might be possible for the full launch of app Dark Mode.
Couple of things I have noticed.
Upgrade invitation on current account looks OK but the Business Pro identifier sort of ādisappearsā into the background at the bottom.
The transaction option toggles also need similar work.
I do very much like the midnight blue themed dark mode overall though.

I have this shading issue also, was just going to post about it then seen this post.
I see this quite often - at least every other day. Being on a different network doesnāt help and I was getting it before upgrading to a 13 Pro Max. If I just quit and go into it again itās always OK.
