None of the things he mentioned are new rules. They’ve applied for years. It seems to me the only things changing are new data collection and reporting requirements for exchanges, and possibly changes in allowances thresholds (I haven’t checked the most recent thresholds).

I missed the news (announced 1 Aug) that crypto ETNs will soon become available again in the UK (from 8 October). This news doesn’t seem to have been posted above, so perhaps worth posting even though its a bit late…

Has this always been here? The linked policy says it’s been the case since April? Not something I currently use, but it’s looking increasingly attractive now I’ve hit my ISA limit.
