Good Afternoon Everyone,
Has anyone heard of Chime bank before? Apparently is the main challenger bank in the USA with around a million of customers.
I was a bit surprised when I read about it as I know of Monzo’s intention of expanding in the US market and never realised there were already important players in the market.
Has anyone got more info about them? (i.e. how long have they been around / quality of the bank)
I couldn’t find much online.
How is Monzo supposed to deal with that, and…

Chime valuation rumoured to be tripling again in little over half a year despite lots of service outages. Investors looking beyond short-term hiccups and seeing some massive potential somewhere
Also Nubank raised $400m at a $10bn valuation and Revolut is rumoured to be in late discussions to raise an astronomical $1.5bn at up to a $10bn valuation.
Things are really hotting up!
