Chase worked fine for me at pets at home about 12ish.
I have been using Chase all day. 6/6 successful transactions at 6 different retailers.
Both chase and Monzo have been working for me. I just thought the notice pointing to no further information was annoying.
I thought they would have put a notice on their status page to say what the in app message was all about rather than leaving it unanswered.
Seen the amount of comments on the Chase thread, thought credit card had dropped
Itās getting closer and closer by the day.
So is the end of the world
Thatāll be Sunday night, for some, if England donāt beat Spain
Canāt wait for my stay in London this weekend
Possibly the most disturbing image posted here. And there have been many.
New 2024 Community Award category? Hope not
Disturbing? I meant like Iād be enjoying the drama in some pubs
The new survey seems to suggest they have a lot of customers using Chase as a pocket money account.
People commonly just move money in, and then out once they get the cashback activated.
Cunning
This exactly, and likely to be so until joint accounts arrive. R-
If Chase want more use of it they should say you need X direct debits active and a min pay in.
They shoot themselves in the foot.
Their debit card assigns virtual card details to it as shown in the app. Why not extend that to the other accounts for subscriptions etc?
Yep, direct debit requirement would be smart. I have often considered using Chase as my primary account because itās a really solid offering but somehow it doesnāt excitement. When I thought they were going to add a packaged account option I could have seen me going all in and moving away from Nationwide. I stick with old habits of buying most things on credit card even though the Amex points arenāt that great anymore
Yeah if they want to incentivise people to use Chase fully: salary in, X direct debits + 10 debit card uses per month.
Would put more people off a itās more effort.
Also virtual cards for every account - would make it so much better.
The only other issue I have is that incoming payments seem to be stuck as pending for ages (this was for matched betting though when a bookie would pay out, took ages to clear)
The banks that require debit card transactions are a pain as I donāt use the debit card normally. In fact the only time I use it is for the daily Amazon top-up to hit the 20 transactions a month for the co-op at the moment.
Iām not sure Iād want to trust my direct debits to an exciting bank. Iād prefer one that was solid and dependable.
Not if you use them as a bank, digital pay also counts.
