Fee information (or lack thereof):
So no overdrafts initially. I was worried as an American bank that they might have a few fees.

A bit old school on the CASS front:
Once your Chase account is up and running, you can use our free switching service to transfer your balance, along with any payment arrangements, from your old bank. To begin the switch, you’ll need to download and fill out a switch request form, then send it to us at

This part makes it look like although each of the accounts is separate, and have its own details, you can spend from all of them them using the same card, just switching in-app where the funds are taken from
You’re so right
Yeah, like how Starling’s Euro account uses the same debit card as your GBP account with them.
But no shawl!
Haha
This document also confirms that they won’t issue a chequebook (not that we expected them to).
What’s that a list of?
MCCs you don’t get the debit card cashback on, I think.
What have they got against motorbike shops and dealers?
Interesting, after all the leaks about how they wanted young professionals to pay their salary in.
It’s what you can’t get cashback on.
Looking at the website and the services they are offering at launch - it looks like the iPhone 13 launch event - quite underwhelming
I don’t think so really.
It looks promising, with a few launch oddities (which is always to be expected).
The iPhone 13 is, likewise, a solid update in my opinion. Especially the iPhone 13 Pro.
I think it’s better than most current banks.
After all the self generated hype, they have no direct debits, no cheque imaging, lots of exclusions and small print to their rewards… and a waiting list.
They would have been better waiting and launching a proper current account, rather than some form of basic spending account.
I can’t see other banks being particularly worried about this particular iteration - there is no significant USP.
Why?
%1 cash back is nice.
The interest on roundups a cool idea.
Needs direct debit support for sure though
Minus the direct debit how is it not?
Waiting list… well I distinctively remember waiting for Monzo.
Haters gonna hate I guess.
