UI make over?
Must be agile and able to work with Squads and Tribes
So I know some folk take this super seriously, so I wonāt ask for details. But has there been any indication from the Chase customer panel thing about a redesign?
Not that I have seen, @Peter_G
They must have heard of the Spotify model
Makes me laugh all this terminology like Lean Black Belts. Pretty useful if some thug starts on you in the pub.
Now theyāve notified us of an update itās bound to be disappointing If theyād just let it appear on Monday weād probably be pleasantly surprised
I wonder if theyāll start moving towards the US version of the app (which looks really cool and seems to have more insights)
I would not think so.
I am imagining that wire transfers, cheques, jo Morgan trading, US credit scores, Venmo and so on are very different on the backend, but also represented very different on the front end.
Not sure if they would be adding UK sort codes, account numbers, BACS, etc to the US app codebase or vice versa. I am expecting the apps to remain distinct - both UX and implementation wise.
I was more specially referring to the look and feel vs technical architecture. Graphs, charts, better spending analysis etc.
I agree that the apps will remain per region for the reasons you give.
Who knows.
Manage your own expectations then, because the update will be the same whether Chase told you it was coming or not.
Lol it was a comment on ourselves not the app.
Itās here.
Nutmeg integration coming soon:
Quite a bit snappier than it was given thereās no major changes (Android 13).
Swiping left and right between accounts and savings is smooth, as with opening accounts and scrolling back through transaction history.
I quite like it.
What I would really like to see next is dark mode.
Itās definitely a lot quicker, no loading pages or timers when going into accounts.
Guessing with the little things like Debit showing in the card panel, could mean a credit card coming in similar format
I wish Nutmegās fees were not so high, I am always reminded of this image I saw on Reddit which illustrates it but you would hope they would gain much more than Vanguards lower fee to get the business:
I thought the same thing, Iād really really like a credit card from Chase.
Iād love virtual cards too
