My thoughts exactly!
Chase seems to have triggered increases across the board, but it may just be coincidence. Either way, their 1.5% has set the bar
Not really sure why 1.5% interest is much of a selling point when inflation is at 8%. I suppose it makes sense to keep a bit of cash and it’s better than nothing, but putting money somewhere where you’re effectively losing money continuously as a great proposition.
Wasn’t my point.
Read it again.
Yeah, it’s hard to disentangle what is market pressure and what’s from above.
One index is hardly a good decision either. Your investments should be fully diversified. Beating inflation is a pretty low bar to set.
If people want easy access and don’t mind losing money every day (albeit slightly less than other banks), then yes it’s market leading. I don’t dispute that.
That would be the selling point then.
I don’t think is accurate - if you treated the regeneration function like a lot of people treat virtual cards I think Chase would be pretty quick to shut you down.
A numberless card is useful, specifically in the case of fraud, but it isn’t a virtual card.
The beauty of selective quotes.
It makes a lot of sense to keep six to nine months’ worth of salary in cash as a buffer against unemployment.
Ah my bad!
You only get so many replacement card details granted to you, can’t remember how many, before they wanna speak to you.
Other than expired cards or changing premium to basic etc I’ve never really had to order a replacement card with a bank.
How can you add the chase card to airtime rewards just thinking as no card details a d don’t think there the ones in the app.
You need to add Chase to Airtime Rewards twice for full coverage
-
Using the card details listed in the app for online transactions.
-
By finding the card number for your numberless physical card. This is also shown in the app if you use someone like TfL or use an NFC reader as suggested by @N26throwaway
I added the number in the app.
Spent using Google Pay.
Rewards tracked.
How do I find the Apple Pay details to use on airtime rewards
Thanks done
The full, unredacted card number is also printed on the merchant copy of most till receipts if you pay using one of those handheld card machines.
