Changing interest rates within Monzo

Restart the app?

It’s 0.05% more than most banks offer on a current account!

True. But other banks have the alt of a fair easy access.

Still not showing for me, unfortunately.

Makes no difference to me. You’ll always get the best rates by shopping around and not having everything under one roof.

Let’s try keep the Starling discussion to the Starling thread :smirk:

True but I would love an easy access

I got it to finally show by logging in and out.

Force quit etc didn’t work :exploding_head:

Had to reinstall app lmao

So this is weird, I never got an email. Strange.

That 1.5% showing as a ā€œfeatureā€ of Premium is now looking more and more out of place…

Same!

Not a complaint, but feels like something might have gone wrong somewhere…

To be fair it is on top of the 3.2% so it’s adding more.

Then again the cap of £2,000 is what brings it down for me.

On that note… is there a cap on the safety net pot?

The max in the T&Cs for the monzo instant access pot is £100k per pot (so £200k if you also have a joint instant access pot).

That’s true, but I think the real point is when the 1/1.5% launched a good few years back it was somewhat decent compared to the state of the markets. I do get that something is better than nothing but it’s hardly market leading anymore (on the basis you have to pay to get it) and other accounts have uprated their savings in accordance with trends.

And, as if by magic, my email has just arrived.

Ditto. I got the rate increase right away (which is what I care about) but only got the email today.
