Strange, I’ve just checked & I still can…are you trying to view it through a proxy server / outside the UK?
No proxy, and yup, I’m in Norway.
the privacy settings on the video are pretty strict (no embedding either)…all I can suggest is that you send a tweet to @milosgajdos & @ipedrazas (it looks like they were involved in organizing the event) asking if the settings can be changed.
You might want to add your tweet to the end of this conversation…
A link to this presentation was also posted on Hacker News (it made the front page) & Oliver’s replied to a few comments there -
Hey @oliver, great talk.
Did you consider using Cloud Foundry? It has more maturity and a bigger feature-set than Kubernetes, although it forces you to write your apps in a very PaaS-like manner (ie 12 factor), and it’s a bit of a pain to setup. CF has been very popular with big banks and other financial services companies looking to speed up their iteration loops (probably to help them better compete with the likes of Monzo et al )
cheers,
Pete
Congratulations to @oliver for being included in Computer Business Review’s 30 under 30 list
which
recognises the best innovators and contributors to the Cloud industry
It’s great (& reassuring) to see the Monzo team getting recognition from their peers.
Thanks! ️ How did you know about this before I did?!
