Are you ready for an electric car?

What does LRDM mean?

Long Range Dual Motor

Which in itself is a weird thing EV manufacturers are doing since this model doesn’t have a standard / short range version, but I guess they worry it will be seen as inferior without a range designation.

Great car :+1:

Delivery day!

This forum won’t let me post what came out of my mouth the first time I put the pedal to the floor…

Was it a 3.7 - 3.8 second expletive?

It was a 3.8 second long expression of “luck”, because it was definitely luck and not duck.

Sweet. I do like Polestar. I’d like them to make a city car but the CEO doesn’t want to.

I imagine Geely would want to use one of their other brands for city cars too so that probably explains what’s going on there.

Anyway, the Renault 4 would be my pick if I wanted something small!

It’s What Car? electric car best buy (or near the top with the Renault 5).

Just realised I meant to write Renault 5.

It had been a long week!

I loved the original Twingo in the early 90s. The second generation just didn’t have the quirkiness of the original. The renders I’ve seen of the upcoming electric version look great, a modern twist on the charm of the original.

Not in the market at the moment as I need to drive distances and have plenty of space and can’t justify running two cars. But, when I get old(er) and (more) decrepit and am mostly pottering around more locally I could see myself going for something like that.
