Applying for Overdrafts

When the current accounts are opened, will the overdraft facility be automatically or will we have to apply to opt in or out?

Thanks for the info on this, I only just got my current account update so I imagine this optional overdraft is available on the android app also? I am interested to know how it works all works. But I suppose I will know when my balance is at a certain level.

Upgraded to current account but unable to apply for overdraft. - Sorry, we can’t currently offer you an overdraft.

To extend this, overdrafts are in very limited external testing too. There’s just a bit more paperwork to be done before we can launch them to a wider group though!
