Access token expiry for payments

Hi,

I have seen that access_token obtained after exchanging the code from consent for payment initiation is valid for 107999 seconds which is about 30 hour. Does that mean that the payment can be submitted up to 30 hours since the consent was given? Doesn’t seem right for payments
