Yonder Card Chat

Although this thread was dangerously close to being a referral thread which I think isn’t allowed, they were usually on request rather than just put on regardless.

Just to watch as it’s not really allowed and might get the thread closed.

On another note; some nice restaurants I want to try coming up in July!

Nice to hear someone getting some use from it. all I seem to hear lately is Moans and groans

Oh everyone moans, especially on here!

For me it’s almost perfect: I’m getting to the age where exploring food options and smaller brands is nice; and it fits that bill for me.

Plus I love the app design. I so wish other bank/finance companies took as much care and effort into their design as Yonder.

The only thing I would like is more options outside the big city’s living out in the sticks and not going into city’s very much nowadays not as much use as I would like although that could change in time

It might change in time but to me they’ve always been pretty upfront and open about their target demographic so it shouldn’t be a surprise that they focus on London and larger cities at the moment.

Has anyone had an issue with the Yonder app crashing while signing up? After referring my husband he entered his email address and the app hung with the Yonder logo in the middle and blocks of colour moving right to left. Even after uninstalling the app and reinstalling from the app store it jumps to that screen immediately he launches the app. Yonder tech support are looking into it but just thought I’d ask here in case anyone else has ever seen this.. (IOS BTW)

Some of the places showing in Manchester also have locations here in Liverpool.

I’ve not visit yet but I assume I can claim the points if I visit locally.

Nice to see Molly House in the gay village as a reward spot. :rainbow:

That would be interesting to see actually. I don’t know how specific they need to be.

I was at one of the pubs the other day and it was just over 1,000 points for a pint, which was excellent value in my books.

Yeah I noticed I can withdraw my points too, to my balance. Wouldn’t be worth it as it’s about £11.

We have this in Liverpool, so a free meal isn’t bad!

I’ve been a customer for a few years and I was originally living in London, so every experience on yonder was on my door step. Move to the suburbs has changed how I spend my points but I get lots of good stuff from the online section (butcher boxes, bulk buy olive oil on Delli, coffee beans delivered etc.). Still work in London so grab the occasional Yonder coffee and sometimes use the restaurants if I’m meeting mates after work etc.

It’ll be interesting to see how they scale outside of big cities

Or just add Liverpool :heart_hands:t3:

So many cool places here.

I don’t think they’d include Hungry Horse etc, theyre not really on brand. The point is to have curated restaurants rather than seeing how quickly they can scale with huge chains. There’s more of a focus on quality than quantity

Did someone want a link?

They already used it.

I applaud your continued efforts though

Oh OK. I thought they were asking. Lol.

How did you get on?

I went though the application , but apparently its not available in Scotland yet :frowning: the app is stuck on this screen , i have been in touch with support but waiting for a response. I have tried to delete and reinstall the app but it jumps straight back to this screen.

Ah, does it dictate by your address or did you choose a locality?
