Is this like feeling :poop:?

Yes but Monzo approved.

Still no new codes how rare are these things

So on the normal credit card you get 5x points per £1 spent and thst roughly is between 2.5-3% reward rate. Logically 4x points is looking more like 2% ish reward rate on debit transactions. In the majority of cases, a mortgage/rent payment would more than cover the £15 fee, plus you get a worldwide travel insurance, no FX fees etc

Got lucky finding one on Reddit

Actually kind of seems like these codes might just be the code at the end of the referral links, which there are plenty of on Reddit, but once someone’s used your “referral link code” once, it’s invalid
My one was posted over a year ago before the debit card existed, I think?

Hi everyone. I’m happy to whip up some new referral codes if you’re keen to skip the waitlist. Maybe just send me a DM and I’ll organise for you.

We’re hoping to go to market before mid-June and anyone who skips the waitlist will be notified first. No solid launch date just yet, sorry!

Tom, for some reason Monzo blocked DM’s but. If you can post them I’d love to get hold of one.

Or if you have an email I could reach you on. As I actually have a question about a yonder issue tbh?

Oh, I didn’t know that. Maybe add me on LinkedIn and send me a note there? I’ll get you a code.

I don’t use LinkedIn

Out of interest (because people here will definitely wonder) are the debit cards/accounts soft/hard search? :eyes:

Will people declined a Yonder credit card be declined automatically?

Is the aim to be a current account one day or remain just a rewards account?

Are you tired of questions?

No soft or hard search on the debit application. We do an eKYC using your address, but it’s not a credit check.

We’re launching it explicitly so people who aren’t eligible for our credit card can still use Yonder through our debit card. So unless you were rejected for violating some fincrime rules then you’ll be able to get the debit card.

So yeah, we definitely won’t reject former credit card applicants automatically. You’ll still need to be eligible - live in the UK, pass verification etc - but it will be much easier to sign up.

Honestly not in the short/medium term but maybe.

Tom it might help if you actually accepted the linkedin connection requests..

Just got my invite, but can’t seem to open a debit card without finishing off my previously unfinished credit card application

I didn’t think they actually had applications open yet?

It’s pretty clear :person_shrugging:

There should be a help icon in the app on your credit application top right? I messaged them and asked them to delete the application, they did it within 10 mins.

Debit card signed up for and on its way.

Sleek experience so far, though silent notifications.
