Weekly and monthly summaries

Hiya,

I have 2 sources of income, one pays weekly and one pays monthly. I use my monthly income for bills and my weekly income for spending so I would find it really useful if there was an option to see both a weekly summary of my spending as well as a monthly one. Or maybe just a monthly summary that could be broken down into weeks would be good.

My wife and I both use the monzo joint account as our main account and all our bills and our salaries are all linked up there. It is so great to have this level of overview of our finances but there is one glaring omission. I get paid on the last working day of the month and she gets paid on the 25th. We have the summary set to start on her paydate as this is first one but for a week or so until I get paid the summary tab is stuck on £0 and red. It is only when I get paid it gives the true pict…

I agree that this would be useful. Most bills require monthly payments while I know loads of people who prefer to budget weekly. Personally, I don’t think the current implementation of weekly budgeting helps with budgeting for monthly bills as well as general spending.
