There’s lots of people who used to be at other places and are now with us, and vice versa, and many of us get multiple recruitment inquiries a month from other companies within the space. So I don’t know if it’s “poaching” per se? Maybe in some cases it could be, but I try not to be too cynical
I’m having a number of issues with Dozens and their support. They randomly blocked my account, so I can’t login. They won’t tell me why and when I contact support they don’t reply to my emails. So my account is dormant.
Never had these issues with other banks like Monzo or Starling.
To be far, this seems to happen with every bank including Monzo. It’s only random from your point of view. They will have a reason but are not allowed to disclose to the customer.
There are cases where banks (or other financial institutions, since Dozens isn’t currently a bank) are not permitted to inform the customer of the reason. Though, without knowing any of the details, no one could really comment on what is happening in your case tbh.
Thanks for the added bit of support, really appreciate it. I did make a post, but they removed it as its sensitive account information. We’re discussing in PM about it, hopefully it will get sorted soon.
The £2 top-up is our way of thanking you for your patience while you wait for the next issuance of our fixed interest bonds. We’ve explained more below.
As you know, we’ve been working hard to make higher returns available to everyone. To achieve this, we’re building a unique financial product that offers our customers regular access to 5% p.a. fixed interest bonds.
However, doing something completely new means we need to take some extra steps to make sure everything is working perfectly. That’s why the bonds have been delayed since its first issuance in March. You can read more about why here.
So we did some calculations and decided to top-up your account with the average interest you could have earned in the last couple of months.
.
At the beginning of April we had 5,000 onboarded customers – including you – so the average successful bond bid would have been £200 , generating an annual interest of £10 and a total monthly interest of nearly £2 in the last two months. We wanted to make sure you didn’t miss out on it.
Thank you again for your early support and patience.
The Dozens Team.
Unfortunately, where it says “You can read more about why here.” there’s no hyperlink (at least, not in my email).
I’m assuming it was to the community post you’ve linked to.
